DAN SEALEY

Dan Sealey is a songwriter, bass guitarist, vocalist and natural-born storyteller with serious pedigree.

 

Born in Birmingham, he rose to prominence with Ocean Colour Scene, touring the world and headlining major festivals for over a decade. He went on to co-found Merrymouth with Simon Fowler, collaborating with acclaimed musicians John McCusker and Andy Cutting, alongside guest appearances from Chas Hodges (Chas & Dave).

 

Dan also re-formed the legendary music-hall duo Cosmotheka with his father, Dave Sealey, a key figure in the UK folk scene. The band toured internationally, hosted BBC Radio 2 shows, appeared on national television and headlined leading folk festivals including Whitby, Sidmouth and Towersey.

 

Today, Dan delivers a compelling live show blending music from his celebrated career with sharp, laugh-out-loud stories from the road—an entertainer with credibility, charm and stage presence to spare.
